Our mission at Maeday Designs LLC is to empower not just women, but all people, to share their strengths and humour with the world and to support those that need help whenever possible. We believe that fashion can be real, communicative, and supportive...not to mention fun!
Our Artist
Tyler (Ty) Shelton is a Tattoo Artist from Aberdeen, WA and is currently based out of Bullhead City, AZ.
Ty has been making and collecting art since he was a young boy and has a background in many different forms of art; ranging from sculpture and pottery to drawing and painting, with a little bit of everything in between.
After graduating from Weatherwax H.S. in Aberdeen, Ty became the youngest member to join the school’s art committee, where he organized events such as fine arts shows and fund raisers. Ty also successfully led the fight to keep the arts in schools when the programs were threatened by budget cuts.
Ty then attended The Art Institute of Seattle where he studied Audio Engineering. Ty was later commissioned to create painted murals for the city of Aberdeen as well as Washington’s capitol city of Olympia.
After spending 3 years as an apprentice to Tuesday Bolger at Fat Tuesday Tattoos in Aberdeen WA, Ty relocated to Bullhead City AZ where he currently owns and operates Ty-Dye Tattoos.
Now, Ty is branching out yet again, creating unique artwork for Maeday Designs, a clothing and apparel company based in Northern VA.
